Head of People

We seek a highly skilled and experienced Head of People to join our team. As the Head of People, you will be pivotal in shaping and executing the human resources strategy aligned with our company's goals and objectives. You will lead all aspects of HR operations, including recruitment, talent management, employee relations, performance management, compliance, and organizational development. This position reports directly to the CFO and requires a strategic thinker with a hands-on approach and a deep understanding of the healthcare industry.

This role requires strong leadership, strategic thinking, and hands-on execution to ensure alignment between People practices and the company's overall objectives. The Head of People will lead a team and collaborate with various departments to create and implement People initiatives that support employee engagement, talent acquisition, retention, and organizational effectiveness.

Responsibilities:

  • Collaborate with senior management to develop and implement HR strategies that support the company's mission, vision, and strategic goals.

  • Lead recruitment efforts to attract top talent, including developing job descriptions, sourcing candidates, conducting interviews, and managing the hiring process.

  • Serve as a trusted advisor to employees and management on People-related issues. Mediate employee disputes, provide guidance on employee relations issues and disciplinary actions, address grievances, ensuring compliance with Accuhealth policies and legal requirements.  

  • Oversee the performance management process, including goal setting, performance evaluations, and professional development planning.

  • Provide input to design cost-effective, competitive benefit plans. Manage renewal and enrollment processes. Support payroll with program administration.

  • Partner with senior management to drive organizational development initiatives, such as succession planning, leadership development, and change management.

  • Document policies and manage processes for onboarding, offboarding, promotions, transfers, terminations, etc. Own and optimize workforce management system.

  • Collaborate with managers to establish career paths and growth opportunities. Identify and design training programs.

  • Manage compensation programs to ensure competitive and equitable pay structures.

  • Maintain working knowledge of employment law. Stay abreast of changes and ensure compliance with all legal requirements related to People practices. 

  • Provide leadership and direction to the People team. Be highly visible to the organization, frequently working in person.

  • Manage HR budget. Provide input to compensation and benefits budget.


Requirements

  • Bachelor's degree in Human Resources, Business Administration, or related field
  • 5+ years’ experience in a Human Resources leadership role in the healthcare industry
  • Experience managing a non-exempt and distributed workforce
  • Ability to envision, develop, and implement new policies, programs, best practices, and strategies effectively
  • Demonstrated ability to build and maintain effective working relationships at all levels of the organization
  • Strong work ethic, highly organized and detail-oriented

Registered Nurse (RN)

Remote or McAllen, Texas | Full-Time & Part-Time Opportunities
We are looking for dedicated and tech-savvy RNs, LVNs, and LPNs to join our team. You will play a crucial role in the on-boarding and monitoring of referred patients in our Telemonitoring program. Your exceptional communication skills, proficiency with technology, compassion, and commitment to building strong patient relationships will be essential in delivering high-quality care and contributing to our mission of improving patient lives. 

Responsibilities:

  • Utilize excellent communication skills to engage with patients and their families
  • Interface with multiple technologies for the intake and on-boarding of referred patients to our Telemonitoring program.
  • Build and maintain relationships with patients for various purposes, including service acceptance, device kitting and fulfillment, continuous patient education and coaching, daily patient adherence, and triage of at-risk and critical physiological data.
  • Assist in the creation and fulfillment of research and clinical grants related to telemonitoring.
  • Monitor patient vitals and promptly report concerns to the supervisor as necessary.
  • Provide support and assistance to current clients using our telemonitoring services.
  • Contact physicians/providers when necessary for patient care coordination.
  • Export or print patient reports and assist clients in integrating them into their.
  • Electronic Medical Records (EMR) systems
  • Relay important patient information back to the internal team.
  • Contribute to expanding our telemonitoring footprint services with clients.

Assist in examination and treatment of patients under the direction of a physician. Interview patients, measure vital signs (e.g., pulse rate, temperature, blood pressure, weight, and height) and record information on patients' charts.
