"We've had impressive control of blood pressure with the utilization of Accuhealth's system. The patients see it as a way to really improve their health and they look forward to taking their blood pressure. The overwhelming majority of patients have found that it's a great way to alter their lifestyle and improve their health. They absolutely love it. It also builds a bond between the physician and the patient, and we've had great success with it in terms of patient loyalty."

"It's a phenomenal tool, that is setup in a very organized and easy to use way. I have patients that I never thought would be so interested in monitoring their blood pressure. And I see a wealth of data, that I otherwise wouldn't have. Accuhealth is something that has benefited my practice in a very significant way."

"My experience with Accuhealth has been nothing short of exceptional from the get-go; the easy turnkey setup and seamless integration with athenahealth allows me and my team to utilize the RPM services without changing our clinical workflows or having to learn new software. My staff love it and our patients now have better health outcomes and are consistently more adherent to their health plans. Accuhealth should be the clear choice for your remote monitoring needs."
Dr. Christopher T.
Litchfield, MD
"Integration into our system was seamless and I have found the company to be very easy to work with, and dedicated to the needs of our patients. I have vetted many vendors over the years and this process was the easiest in terms of implementation. The best part is that our patients and providers love this way of monitoring patient conditions. In addition, we have seen statistically significant improvements in reducing BP and glucose measurements."

You will hear the following terms used interchangeably: 1) Remote Patient Monitoring, 2) Remote Physiologic Monitoring, 3) Chronic Care Remote Physiologic Monitoring.
Just one. There is no requirement to monitor more than one physiologic parameter.
A new clinic can be live with us in as fast as 24 hours, although with training and EHR integration, the typical onboarding period is 3 to 5 business days.
Zero. We do it at no cost because we know each new integration is an investment that makes our product offering more attractive to our clients.
Many vendors charge $5,000 or more for EHR integration, and that usually means they don’t actually offer it.
Medicare, Medicare Advantage, Texas Medicaid (under the name of "telemonitoring" with different codes than Medicare), and some private payers. For Medicare, RPM is a Part B service.
We ship devices to patients using tracking numbers, and once the device has arrived, we call the patient to onboard them onto the program. We help them take their first measurement and make sure that their data is flowing appropriately into our platform.
Some vendors require the clinic staff to train patients on device usage.
The ordering provider should document that the patient has given consent for the program. The consent itself can be verbal, but the provider should document that consent was obtained. This is especially important for patients with Original Medicare because they will be responsible for 20% of the claim that the provider generates (unless their secondary insurance covers it).
